What you will do:

The Senior Project Engineer – Electrical will support the execution of electrical works related to the HVAC and Building Management System (BMS) scope for the Greenbelt Project. This role involves coordinating design reviews, overseeing site execution, and ensuring timely delivery of electrical components supporting HVAC and BMS systems in compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

How you will do it:

• Review and interpret electrical design drawings and specifications related to HVAC and BMS systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to ensure electrical works align with overall project objectives and integration needs.
• Support the procurement team by reviewing technical submissions, equipment data sheets, and vendor proposals for electrical components.
• Monitor site execution of electrical installations for HVAC equipment (e.g., chillers, AHUs, FCUs) and BMS controls.
• Ensure proper cable routing, panel installations, power distribution, and grounding for HVAC and control systems.
• Assist in the development of testing and commissioning plans for electrical systems supporting HVAC/BMS.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to avoid conflicts and ensure seamless system integration.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is performed according to approved drawings and quality standards.
• Support project documentation efforts including as-built drawings, inspection reports, and material submittals.
• Participate in technical meetings and report progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering roles, preferably within MEP, HVAC, or BMS projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems for HVAC and building automation applications.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, IEEE).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical design tools, and MS Office.
• Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures is a plus.
