We’re looking for a Software Sustaining Engineer to join our R&D team in Brno. You’ll be working on embedded software for fire detection systems—products installed in buildings across the globe.

How you will do it:

• Collaborate with global teams, customers, and technical support

• Develop, test and improve embedded software for our devices

• Work with modern tools and continuously grow your skills

• Drive issue resolution, documentation and continuous improvement

What we look for:

•  Degree in Computer Science, Software, or Electrical Engineering

• 2–5 years of experience in embedded software development

• Strong debugging, communication and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Windows (WPF) application development with C#, C/C++

• Networking and Database experience

• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) 

Preferred:

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Make, Python)

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)

• Background in embedded systems
