Key Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing client financial statements and preparing credit proposals for corporate banking deals
• Support the development of pitch books and presentations for prospective clients in the Chinese market
• Conduct market research on industry trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic advisory services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute transactions, including debt financing and syndicated loans
• Participate in client meetings and due diligence processes to gain insights into corporate needs
• Monitor portfolio performance and prepare reports on key metrics for senior management
• Contribute to risk assessment and compliance checks for global corporate clients operating in China
• Assist in leveraging JPMorgan's digital tools for data analysis and client relationship management
• Engage in team projects focused on sustainable finance initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region

Required Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field, with an expected graduation in 2026 or later
• Strong academic record, typically with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
• Eligibility to work in China during the internship period, including any necessary visa requirements
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) and English
• Demonstrated interest in global corporate banking through coursework, extracurricular activities, or prior internships
• Ability to commit to the full duration of the seasonal program (typically 3-6 months)
• Basic understanding of financial markets and corporate finance principles
