Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on financial markets, economic trends, and industry sectors relevant to JP Morgan Chase's operations in China
• Support the development of analytical models and reports to inform investment strategies and client advisory services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, perform quantitative analysis, and generate insights for senior analysts
• Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and market indicators to identify opportunities and risks
• Prepare presentations, dashboards, and written summaries of research findings for internal stakeholders
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects involving data cleaning, statistical analysis, and forecasting in the financial services domain
• Participate in team meetings and client interactions to understand business needs and provide analytical support
• Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's data security and regulatory standards in all analytical work

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in finance, economics, business administration, data science, or a related field, with an expected graduation in 2026 or later

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Eligibility to work in China for the duration of the internship (visa requirements must be met)
• Availability for a full-time seasonal commitment of 3-6 months in Shanghai starting in 2026
