Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the valuation of timberland assets using financial modeling techniques and market data analysis
• Conduct field assessments and data collection on forest resources to support investment decisions
• Support the development of sustainability reports and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) compliance documentation for JP Morgan Chase's forestry portfolio
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends in timber, carbon credits, and renewable resources
• Utilize GIS tools to map and evaluate forest inventories for risk assessment and opportunity identification
• Contribute to due diligence processes for potential acquisitions of forestry assets
• Prepare presentations and reports on resource valuation solutions for senior stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Forestry, Environmental Science, Finance, Business, or a related field, with an expected graduation date of 2026 or later
• Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Demonstrated interest in sustainable forestry, natural resource management, or environmental finance through coursework, projects, or extracurricular activities
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for data analysis and financial modeling
• Ability to work full-time during the summer internship period (approximately 10-12 weeks)
