Key Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing on JP Morgan Chase's web and mobile applications to ensure compliance with ADA and WCAG standards
• Identify, document, and report accessibility defects in financial services platforms, including trading systems and customer portals
• Collaborate with development and design teams to remediate accessibility issues and improve user experience for diverse audiences
• Perform usability testing with assistive technologies to simulate real-world scenarios for users with disabilities
• Review and audit internal and third-party content for accessibility barriers, providing actionable recommendations
• Stay updated on evolving accessibility regulations and best practices relevant to the financial industry
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives to integrate accessibility into the software development lifecycle
• Create and maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation for ADA compliance testing
• Support training initiatives for team members on accessibility principles and tools
• Contribute to innovation in testing methodologies to enhance the bank's digital inclusivity

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in software testing, with exposure to accessibility testing
• Familiarity with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) standards and WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.1 or higher
• Basic knowledge of assistive technologies such as screen readers (e.g., JAWS, NVDA) and keyboard navigation
• Understanding of financial services applications and regulatory compliance requirements
• Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in accessibility testing (e.g., CPACC or WAS from IAAP)
• Experience with automated accessibility testing tools like Axe or WAVE
• Prior work in the banking or financial sector, particularly with digital platforms
• Knowledge of scripting languages like JavaScript or Python for test automation
• Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence
