Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the origination and execution of M&A advisory mandates for mid-cap clients in the retail and consumer sectors
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with C-suite executives and key decision-makers in target industries
  • Develop tailored pitch materials, financial models, and valuation analyses to support deal origination
  • Oversee due diligence processes, transaction structuring, and negotiations to ensure seamless deal closure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, compliance, and product specialists at JP Morgan Chase
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand the firm's market share in Retail & Consumer M&A
  • Mentor and manage junior bankers, providing guidance on deal execution and client management
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to advise clients strategically

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
  • 15+ years of experience in M&A advisory, with a focus on retail and consumer sectors for mid-cap companies
  • Proven track record of leading and closing M&A transactions valued between $100M and $1B
  • Deep knowledge of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes in the investment banking industry
  • Strong network of contacts within the retail, consumer goods, and mid-cap corporate client base
  • Experience managing client relationships at the executive level in a top-tier investment bank
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent FINRA registrations required
