Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing GenAI ML team, fostering innovation in predictive science for financial services
• Drive the development and deployment of AI/ML models for applications like risk assessment, customer personalization, and fraud prevention
• Serve as the primary decision-maker for technical strategy, architecture, and resource allocation within the team
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, engineering, and compliance teams, to align AI initiatives with business goals
• Oversee data engineering pipelines to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient data processing for ML workflows
• Identify emerging AI trends and technologies to enhance JPMorgan Chase's competitive edge in the financial industry
• Ensure all AI solutions adhere to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines in banking
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to deliver high-impact results
• Conduct performance reviews and talent development to build a world-class team
• Present AI/ML strategies and outcomes to senior leadership and external partners

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 5 years in leadership roles managing technical teams
• Proven track record of leading Generative AI (GenAI) and machine learning initiatives in a financial services environment
• Deep expertise in data engineering, predictive modeling, and scalable AI solutions
• Experience in financial risk management, fraud detection, or algorithmic trading using AI/ML
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in finance, such as GDPR, SOX, and Basel III
• Ability to drive innovation and make strategic decisions in high-stakes, data-driven environments

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud in financial applications
• Prior leadership in cross-functional teams at a global financial institution
• Publications or contributions to AI/ML in finance conferences or journals
• Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's internal tools and data platforms

Required Skills

• Expertise in Generative AI, deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Proficiency in machine learning algorithms for predictive modeling in finance
• Strong data engineering skills with tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, and SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud-based AI services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML)
