Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML models to drive predictive insights for JPMorgan Chase's financial products and services
• Oversee a team of data scientists and ML engineers, fostering innovation in areas like credit risk assessment and customer personalization
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across investment banking, consumer banking, and asset management to align AI initiatives with strategic goals
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical AI practices in all model development and deployment processes
• Manage end-to-end AI project lifecycles, from data ingestion and model training to production monitoring and optimization
• Identify emerging AI trends and technologies to enhance JPMorgan Chase's competitive edge in the financial services industry
• Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of continuous learning in machine learning applications
• Conduct risk assessments and performance evaluations of AI systems to mitigate potential financial and operational impacts
• Partner with IT and infrastructure teams to scale AI solutions on JPMorgan Chase's secure cloud environments
• Present AI strategy and outcomes to senior executives, translating technical concepts into business value

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML development and deployment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within financial services
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in building and scaling machine learning models for predictive analytics
• Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks and tools, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
• Strong understanding of financial regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and SEC guidelines for AI applications in banking
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources for AI initiatives in a high-stakes financial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developing AI solutions for risk management, fraud detection, or algorithmic trading at a major financial institution
• Publications or contributions to AI/ML research in financial applications, such as predictive modeling for market trends
• Certification in AI ethics or responsible AI practices, with knowledge of bias mitigation in financial models
• Prior leadership in agile methodologies for AI project delivery within a global bank
• Familiarity with JPMorgan Chase's internal tools and platforms for data governance and model deployment
