Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cutting-edge research in NLP to develop innovative AI solutions for JPMorgan Chase's financial services
• Design, implement, and evaluate advanced NLP models for applications like fraud detection, customer sentiment analysis, and automated report generation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to integrate AI research into production systems
• Analyze large-scale financial datasets, including unstructured text from market reports, emails, and regulatory documents
• Publish research findings in leading AI conferences and contribute to JPMorgan's internal knowledge base
• Mentor junior researchers and interns on NLP techniques and best practices
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in AI and NLP, applying them to solve real-world challenges in risk management and investment advisory
• Ensure AI models comply with financial regulations and ethical standards, focusing on explainability and robustness
• Prototype and scale NLP solutions to enhance decision-making processes across JPMorgan's global operations
• Participate in AI Research team initiatives to advance machine learning capabilities in the financial sector

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML research, with a focus on NLP applications
• Strong publication record in top-tier conferences such as ACL, EMNLP, or NeurIPS
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience with large-scale data processing and model deployment in production environments
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced industry setting
• U.S. work authorization and ability to obtain necessary security clearances for financial services

Preferred Qualifications
