As an AI Strategy Associate in Artificial Intelligence Governance, Enablement, and Regulation, based in Singapore, you will support the APAC region's AI/ML initiatives by developing robust governance structures that align with global standards and local regulations. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams across risk, compliance, technology, and business units to foster a culture of responsible innovation within one of the world's leading financial institutions. Your primary focus will be on creating and implementing AI governance frameworks tailored to the dynamic APAC regulatory landscape, including Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act and emerging AI guidelines from bodies like the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Responsibilities include conducting thorough risk assessments for AI projects, advising on compliance with international standards like the EU AI Act, and enabling teams to build and deploy AI models that are transparent, fair, and secure. You will also contribute to enablement efforts by developing training programs and best practices that empower JP Morgan's workforce to harness AI's potential while upholding our firm's high standards of integrity and client trust. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement AI governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal JP Morgan policies and external regulations in the APAC region
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable responsible AI/ML adoption across business lines, including risk, compliance, and technology groups
• Conduct risk assessments and audits for AI initiatives, identifying potential ethical, bias, and regulatory issues in financial services applications
• Support the creation of AI enablement programs, providing guidance on best practices for model development, deployment, and monitoring
• Monitor evolving AI regulations in APAC jurisdictions (e.g., Singapore's PDPA, Hong Kong's AI guidelines) and advise on their impact to JP Morgan's operations
• Facilitate training and awareness sessions on responsible AI for stakeholders to foster innovation while mitigating risks
• Analyze AI/ML use cases in areas like fraud detection, customer personalization, and trading algorithms to ensure alignment with governance standards
• Partner with global AI strategy teams to localize governance strategies for APAC markets, contributing to firm-wide innovation initiatives
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on AI compliance status, trends, and recommendations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in AI/ML strategy, governance, compliance, or regulatory roles within financial services or technology sectors
• Strong understanding of AI ethics, responsible AI principles, and regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, AI Act, or APAC-specific data privacy laws
• Experience supporting AI adoption in a corporate environment, preferably in banking or fintech
• Ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable governance strategies
• Proficiency in English; additional languages spoken in APAC (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in AI, Technology Management, or related discipline
• Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar, focusing on AI innovation
• Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and their application in financial risk management or compliance
• Certifications in AI governance (e.g., Certified AI Ethics Officer) or data privacy (e.g., CIPP/APAC)
