Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts in developing comprehensive business cases for AI/ML models, evaluating potential ROI, costs, and strategic alignment
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to prioritize high-impact use cases across JP Morgan Chase's lines of business
• Conduct financial valuations of AI/ML models, incorporating factors like implementation costs, scalability, and risk-adjusted returns
• Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on model adoption, ensuring alignment with firm-wide priorities in areas like consumer banking and investment management
• Oversee the creation of detailed reports and presentations that articulate the business value of AI/ML initiatives to C-suite executives
• Monitor and refine business casing methodologies to adapt to evolving regulatory landscapes and technological advancements
• Foster a collaborative team environment, mentoring junior staff on financial analysis and AI/ML best practices
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with AI/ML model deployment, including data privacy and model explainability
• Drive cross-functional partnerships with technology, risk, and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration of AI/ML solutions
• Track key performance metrics for deployed models and update business cases based on real-world outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred
• 8+ years of experience in financial modeling, AI/ML valuation, or business casing within the financial services industry
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams in a high-stakes banking environment
• Deep understanding of AI/ML technologies and their applications in risk management, fraud detection, and investment decision-making
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis tools and methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling and ROI calculations
• Experience with regulatory compliance in AI/ML models, such as those governed by OCC, FDIC, or Basel III frameworks
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to senior executives

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CFA certification with a focus on quantitative finance
• Prior experience at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase, leading AI/ML initiatives
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn in a production environment
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices and bias mitigation in financial models
• Track record of delivering AI/ML projects that drive measurable business value in banking operations
