Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies to enhance JP Morgan Chase's Americas Equity and Debt Capital Markets franchise
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities and mitigate operational risks in capital markets activities
  • Oversee business performance metrics, including deal pipeline analysis, revenue forecasting, and market share tracking
  • Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives across equity and debt origination teams
  • Manage cross-functional projects involving sales, trading, and product teams to support client mandates
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to inform strategic decisions
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls in all business management activities
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation within the Business Management group

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, or financial services business management
  • Strong understanding of equity and debt capital markets, including IPOs, follow-ons, bond issuances, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven track record in business strategy, process optimization, and cross-functional team leadership
  • Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and market data analysis
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with a focus on risk management and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related discipline
  • Prior experience at a bulge-bracket investment bank like JP Morgan Chase

  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or equivalent certifications
