Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily operational support for custody services, including trade confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation activities
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries related to account balances, transactions, and reporting
  • Monitor and resolve exceptions in middle office processes to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
  • Collaborate with front office, back office, and compliance teams to mitigate operational risks
  • Prepare and deliver customized client reports on portfolio holdings, performance, and custody metrics
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal controls in all client service activities
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to automation initiatives to enhance efficiency
  • Support client onboarding by reviewing documentation and setting up custody accounts
  • Analyze client feedback to drive service enhancements and maintain high satisfaction levels

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in middle office operations, custody services, or client servicing within the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of custody services, including asset reconciliation, trade settlement, and regulatory reporting
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as Bloomberg, SWIFT, or similar platforms
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data and resolve discrepancies
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations such as SEC, FINRA, and Dodd-Frank Act requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like CFA Level 1 or Series 7
  • Experience working in a global custody environment at a major financial institution
