Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough credit risk assessments for structured finance transactions, including due diligence on underlying assets and counterparties
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate portfolio performance, stress testing, and scenario analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including origination, sales, and legal to structure deals that mitigate risks
  • Monitor ongoing credit exposures and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies
  • Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory submissions
  • Analyze market trends and regulatory changes impacting structured finance products
  • Support the development of risk policies and procedures specific to JP Morgan Chase's global standards
  • Assist in portfolio management, including early warning systems and workout strategies for distressed assets
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects such as new product development in securitized markets

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit risk analysis, structured finance, or related areas within financial services
  • Strong understanding of structured finance products such as securitizations, collateralized debt obligations (CDOs), and asset-backed securities (ABS)
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment methodologies
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks including Basel III, IFRS 9, and local Indian regulations
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Hindi are advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Finance or Risk Management
  • Experience working in a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
  • Certification in credit risk management (e.g., FRM or CFA Level I)
  • Familiarity with credit rating agencies and their methodologies
