Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile derivatives transactions for global fund clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor and resolve trade breaks, valuation discrepancies, and settlement issues in derivatives operations
  • Collaborate with front office, middle office, and client service teams to support fund servicing needs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls for derivatives activities
  • Analyze daily derivatives positions and generate reports for fund managers and stakeholders
  • Support the implementation of new derivatives products and process improvements within the operations team
  • Liaise with custodians, prime brokers, and counterparties to facilitate smooth derivatives workflows
  • Contribute to risk management by identifying operational risks in fund derivatives portfolios
  • Assist in month-end and quarter-end close processes for derivatives-related fund valuations
  • Participate in training and knowledge sharing to enhance team capabilities in derivatives operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably in derivatives or fund services
  • Strong understanding of derivatives products including swaps, options, and futures
  • Proficiency in financial regulations such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, and MiFID II
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • U.S. work authorization without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with fund accounting or middle office operations in a global financial institution
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan Chase's internal systems like Aladdin or similar platforms
  • Certification such as CFA Level 1 or FRM
