Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve independent price testing for instruments such as derivatives, fixed income securities, and equities, using market data from sources like Bloomberg and Reuters. You will analyze valuation discrepancies, recommend adjustments, and document processes to meet regulatory requirements under IFRS 13 and other global standards. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with front office traders, risk analysts, and product controllers to resolve issues and enhance valuation methodologies. Additionally, you will support ad-hoc initiatives, such as implementing new control frameworks or preparing for internal audits, all while leveraging JP Morgan's state-of-the-art technology platforms to drive efficiency.
