Key Responsibilities

• Lead the APAC Deal Governance and Pricing Team, overseeing day-to-day operations and strategic direction for payments-related deals
• Develop and implement pricing strategies for APAC payments products, ensuring competitiveness and profitability in line with JP Morgan Chase's global standards
• Govern the end-to-end deal lifecycle, from negotiation to execution, while mitigating risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, risk, and compliance to align on deal objectives and governance protocols
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and regulatory changes to recommend enhancements to payments offerings
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the newly-established team
• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on deal performance, pricing impacts, and governance metrics
• Drive business transformation initiatives to streamline processes and leverage technology for efficient deal management
• Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk management frameworks and ethical standards in all APAC payments activities
• Represent the team in regional forums and contribute to broader APAC strategy for payments growth

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in payments, deal governance, pricing strategies, or related areas within the financial services industry
• Proven leadership experience managing teams in a high-stakes financial environment, ideally in APAC markets
• Deep knowledge of APAC regulatory frameworks for payments and financial transactions, including compliance with MAS and other regional bodies
• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling, pricing optimization, and risk assessment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other APAC languages is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in deal structuring and governance for cross-border payments at a global bank like JP Morgan Chase
• Familiarity with emerging payment technologies such as real-time payments, blockchain, and digital currencies
• Prior exposure to JP Morgan Chase's internal processes or similar large-scale financial institutions
• Certifications in financial risk management (e.g., FRM) or payments-specific credentials
• Track record of driving business transformation initiatives in the payments sector
