Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tier-3 support for mission-critical applications, diagnosing and resolving production issues to minimize downtime in JP Morgan's global financial operations
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance application performance and implement innovative solutions for business challenges in investment banking and asset management
  • Monitor application health using tools like Splunk or AppDynamics, proactively identifying and mitigating risks in real-time trading environments
  • Drive root cause analysis for incidents, documenting findings and recommending process improvements to enhance system reliability
  • Support the deployment and maintenance of applications in a cloud-hybrid infrastructure, ensuring compliance with JP Morgan's security and regulatory standards
  • Engage in knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to a learning-focused culture by mentoring junior support staff

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support or IT operations within the financial services industry
  • Proven experience troubleshooting complex application issues in a high-volume trading or banking environment
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
  • Experience with monitoring tools and incident management processes in a 24/7 operational setting
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is advantageous for the Buenos Aires location
  • Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Java-based applications or financial trading platforms at a global bank
