Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy applied AI and machine learning models to enhance data analytics solutions for financial services
• Collaborate with agile teams to design data collection, storage, and access systems tailored to predictive science applications
• Analyze large-scale financial datasets to identify patterns and build predictive models for risk, fraud, and customer insights
• Optimize ML pipelines for scalability and efficiency in a cloud-based environment
• Ensure model compliance with financial regulations and ethical AI standards
• Conduct experiments, validate models, and iterate based on performance metrics
• Integrate AI solutions with existing JP Morgan Chase platforms to drive business value
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team
• Monitor and maintain deployed models to adapt to evolving market conditions
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; Master's degree preferred
• 2-4 years of experience in applied machine learning, AI development, or data analytics roles
• Proficiency in Python, R, or Java for building and deploying ML models
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data processing techniques
• Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of financial data handling, including regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOX) and risk management
• Ability to work in agile environments and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in AI, Machine Learning, or Statistics
• Experience in financial services, particularly in predictive modeling for risk assessment or fraud detection
• Familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
• Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., AWS Certified Machine Learning or Google Professional Data Engineer)
• Prior work at a large financial institution or in fintech
