Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of applied AI/ML solutions to drive predictive analytics in financial services
• Collaborate with agile teams to integrate AI models into core banking platforms, enhancing risk assessment and customer experiences
• Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering innovation in areas like fraud prevention and market forecasting
• Conduct research and experimentation on advanced ML techniques, ensuring alignment with JPMorgan Chase's strategic goals
• Ensure AI solutions comply with financial regulations and ethical standards, mitigating biases in models
• Optimize ML pipelines for scalability and performance in high-volume trading environments
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate financial challenges into actionable AI-driven insights
• Monitor and maintain deployed models, iterating based on real-world performance metrics

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field
• 8+ years of experience in applied AI/ML development, with a focus on production-level implementations
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in agile environments within the financial services sector
• Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Strong understanding of financial data, risk modeling, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, Basel III)
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for scalable AI solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex, large-scale datasets

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with publications in AI/ML conferences
• Experience in fraud detection, algorithmic trading, or personalized financial advisory systems at a major bank
• Certification in AI ethics or responsible AI practices
