Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML models to enhance predictive analytics in JP Morgan Chase's financial products
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities in areas like risk management and customer personalization
• Oversee the end-to-end ML lifecycle, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training, validation, and monitoring
• Ensure AI solutions comply with JP Morgan's ethical AI guidelines and financial regulations
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation in applied AI within the Predictive Science team
• Optimize ML models for performance and scalability using cloud infrastructure
• Conduct experiments and A/B testing to measure the impact of AI initiatives on business outcomes
• Stay abreast of emerging AI trends and integrate them into JP Morgan's technology roadmap
• Present AI/ML project results to senior leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field
• 5+ years of experience in applied AI/ML roles, with a focus on developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in AI/ML projects within the financial services sector
• Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations like GDPR and financial compliance standards such as SOX
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for scalable AI/ML deployments
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to translate business needs into technical AI solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with research publications in AI/ML
• Experience in financial modeling, risk assessment, or fraud detection using AI/ML
• Certification in AI/ML (e.g., Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer)
• Prior leadership in agile teams using DevOps practices for ML pipelines
• Knowledge of explainable AI techniques for regulatory compliance in banking
