Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML models to optimize client onboarding processes in Global Banking
• Analyze complex financial datasets to derive actionable insights that enhance client service and risk assessment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and compliance experts to integrate AI solutions
• Design and implement predictive models for fraud detection, credit risk, and customer personalization in banking operations
• Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of innovation in applied AI within JP Morgan Chase
• Conduct experiments and A/B testing to validate model performance and ensure scalability in production
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and regulatory changes in the financial industry to drive strategic initiatives
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders to influence business decisions
• Ensure ethical AI practices, including bias mitigation and data privacy compliance in all projects
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data infrastructure for Global Banking applications

Required Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in applied AI/ML roles, preferably in financial services or banking
• Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments
• Strong proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis and modeling
• Experience with large-scale data processing using tools like Spark, Hadoop, or cloud platforms
• Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in global banking or financial services, particularly in client onboarding and risk management
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in finance, such as KYC/AML processes
• Advanced knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision for financial applications
• Prior leadership experience in mentoring data science teams
• Certifications in AI/ML from recognized institutions like Coursera or AWS
