Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions to optimize operations in JP Morgan Chase's Global Private Bank, focusing on predictive analytics for client servicing and risk assessment
• Collaborate with core technology teams to integrate ML models into banking platforms, ensuring scalability and compliance with regulatory standards
• Mentor and manage a team of AI/ML engineers, fostering innovation in areas like fraud detection, personalized wealth management, and process automation
• Conduct data analysis and model validation to enhance predictive science capabilities, leveraging JP Morgan's vast financial datasets
• Drive cross-functional initiatives with business units to identify AI opportunities that improve efficiency and client outcomes in private banking
• Oversee the ethical deployment of AI models, ensuring bias mitigation and adherence to JP Morgan's responsible AI principles
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and trends in financial services, recommending adoption strategies for the organization
• Prepare executive reports and presentations on AI/ML project impacts, ROI, and future roadmaps
• Partner with global teams in Bengaluru and other hubs to align AI initiatives with JP Morgan's worldwide technology strategy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field
• 8+ years of experience in applied AI/ML, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within financial services or technology sectors
• Proven track record of deploying machine learning models in production environments, particularly in risk management, fraud detection, or operational efficiency
• Deep expertise in Python, R, or similar programming languages for ML model development and deployment
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Strong understanding of financial regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOX) and data privacy in banking operations
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders in a global banking environment

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative discipline with focus on AI/ML applications in finance
• Experience in private banking operations or core technology at a tier-1 financial institution
• Certifications in AI/ML (e.g., Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer) or financial technology
• Prior work on generative AI or large language models for operational automation in banking
