Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of applied AI/ML solutions to optimize Global Private Bank operations and core technology platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities in private banking workflows
• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models, from data preparation and model training to monitoring and retraining in production
• Ensure AI initiatives comply with JP Morgan Chase's risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry
• Drive innovation in predictive science, leveraging AI to enhance client experience, fraud detection, and operational efficiency
• Mentor and guide a team of AI/ML engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and best practices in financial technology
• Conduct performance analysis of AI models and recommend improvements to support scalable, secure solutions for global operations
• Partner with senior leadership to align AI strategies with broader JP Morgan Chase business objectives in wealth management
• Stay abreast of emerging AI trends and integrate them into core tech initiatives for the Global Private Bank

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field
• 8+ years of experience in applied AI/ML, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within financial services or technology
• Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments, particularly in operations and core technology
• Strong understanding of financial regulations such as GDPR, SOX, and Basel III, with experience ensuring AI/ML solutions comply with banking standards
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments, delivering AI-driven solutions for global private banking operations
• Proficiency in Python, R, or Java for ML model development and deployment
• Demonstrated ability to handle large-scale data sets and cloud-based AI infrastructure in a high-stakes financial context

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Machine Learning, AI, or Statistics with applications in finance
• Experience with AI/ML in private banking, including client onboarding, risk assessment, or fraud detection
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for AI/ML deployments
• Prior work at a top-tier financial institution like JP Morgan Chase, focusing on operational efficiency through predictive analytics
• Knowledge of ethical AI practices and bias mitigation in financial models
