Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy advanced AI/ML models to enhance payment processing efficiency and fraud detection in JPMorgan's Commercial & Investment Bank
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities in payments analytics
• Analyze large-scale transaction data to build predictive models for risk assessment and optimization
• Integrate AI solutions into existing payment platforms, ensuring scalability and compliance with financial regulations
• Conduct experiments and A/B testing to validate model performance and iterate on improvements
• Stay abreast of emerging AI technologies and apply them to solve complex problems in commercial and investment banking
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the team's knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Ensure ethical AI practices, including bias detection and model explainability in financial decision-making
• Partner with global teams to roll out AI-driven solutions across JPMorgan's international operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in applied machine learning or AI development, with a focus on financial services or payments systems
• Proven track record of deploying ML models in production environments within large-scale financial institutions
• Strong programming proficiency in Python, R, or Java, with experience in ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Experience with data analytics in commercial banking or investment banking contexts
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements in financial services, such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and anti-money laundering standards
