Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced machine learning models and generative AI solutions tailored to JP Morgan Private Bank's client needs, such as personalized investment recommendations and risk assessment tools
• Build full-stack AI applications, integrating front-end interfaces with backend ML pipelines to enable seamless deployment in production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders in the Private Bank to identify AI opportunities and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Conduct research and experimentation on cutting-edge AI technologies, ensuring solutions are innovative yet compliant with JPMorgan Chase's risk and regulatory standards
• Optimize and scale ML models for high-performance in financial datasets, handling large-scale data processing for predictive analytics in wealth management
• Implement robust data pipelines and ensure model explainability to support decision-making in a regulated financial services environment
• Monitor and maintain deployed AI systems, performing regular updates and performance evaluations to align with evolving market conditions
• Contribute to the firm's AI governance framework, promoting ethical AI practices and bias mitigation in private banking applications
• Mentor junior associates and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the Predictive Science team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in machine learning engineering or data science roles within financial services or a similar industry
• Proficiency in Python and at least one other programming language such as Java or Scala
• Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Experience with full-stack development, including building APIs and deploying models in cloud environments
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations such as GDPR and financial compliance standards like SEC guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in AI, Machine Learning, or a quantitative field
• Prior experience working in private banking or wealth management at a major financial institution
• Hands-on experience with generative AI models such as GPT or diffusion models
