Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML models to address complex business challenges in areas like risk management, customer personalization, and fraud prevention at JP Morgan Chase
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to define project scopes and deliverables
  • Design and implement scalable ML pipelines for processing financial datasets, ensuring model accuracy, robustness, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards
  • Conduct advanced analytics and predictive modeling to drive insights for investment banking, asset management, and consumer banking divisions
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation in applied AI within the Predictive Science group

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience in applied AI/ML development, with a focus on financial services or large-scale data environments
  • Proven track record of leading AI/ML projects from ideation to production deployment
  • Strong programming proficiency in Python, R, or Java, with experience in ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
  • Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, including supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning techniques
  • Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and handling large datasets in cloud environments like AWS or Azure
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial services, such as GDPR, CCPA, or SEC guidelines for AI applications

  • PhD in a quantitative discipline with research publications in AI/ML
