Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable digital banking platforms that deliver seamless user experiences while ensuring security and compliance
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to define technical roadmaps for JP Morgan Chase's digital bank initiatives
• Lead the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies like AI, blockchain, and cloud-native services into financial products
• Ensure architectural decisions align with regulatory requirements and risk management standards in the financial services industry
• Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization for high-volume transaction processing systems
• Partner with global teams in Bengaluru to support 24/7 operations for international clients
• Develop proof-of-concepts for new features, such as personalized banking apps and real-time fraud detection
• Monitor and improve system reliability, aiming for 99.99% uptime in a trusted banking environment
• Contribute to strategic planning for digital transformation, enhancing customer trust and value

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in financial services or fintech
• Proven track record of designing scalable, secure digital banking platforms
• Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in banking (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX)
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation in digital experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's technology stack or similar enterprise environments
• Certification in enterprise architecture (e.g., TOGAF) or cloud platforms
• Background in designing mobile-first digital banking solutions
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration for personalized financial services
• Prior work on high-availability systems handling millions of transactions
