Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end digital banking solutions that ensure scalability, security, and seamless user experiences for JP Morgan Chase's digital bank
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define technical roadmaps and implement microservices-based architectures
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and industry standards while optimizing system performance
• Lead the evaluation and integration of emerging technologies like cloud-native services and APIs
• Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of innovation within the Bengaluru team
• Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments to mitigate potential vulnerabilities in financial systems
• Drive cross-functional partnerships with product, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable digital experiences
• Monitor and optimize system architectures for cost-efficiency and high availability in a 24/7 banking environment
• Contribute to strategic planning for JP Morgan Chase's digital transformation initiatives in India

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years in financial services or fintech
• Proven track record of designing scalable, secure systems for digital banking platforms
• Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices design
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in banking (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX)
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in large-scale environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JP Morgan Chase's technology stack or similar enterprise environments
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or TOGAF
• Background in digital transformation projects for consumer banking applications
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration in financial systems
• Prior work on high-availability systems handling millions of transactions daily
