Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end digital banking solutions that deliver seamless user experiences while ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with financial regulations
• Lead the technical roadmap for JP Morgan Chase's digital bank platform, integrating features like mobile payments, account management, and personalized financial advice
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement microservices architectures using technologies like Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance on best practices for system performance, data integrity, and cybersecurity in a high-transaction financial environment
• Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the Bengaluru technology hub
• Evaluate and integrate third-party fintech tools and APIs to enhance digital banking capabilities, ensuring alignment with JP Morgan's global standards
• Monitor and optimize system performance to handle peak loads during market events or promotional campaigns
• Work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures that support JP Morgan's commitment to trusted, value-driven banking
• Contribute to risk assessments and disaster recovery planning for digital platforms, minimizing downtime in critical financial services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in software architecture, design, and development within financial services or large-scale enterprise environments
• Proven track record in designing scalable, secure digital banking platforms compliant with regulatory standards like GDPR, PCI-DSS, and RBI guidelines
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and API-driven systems for high-availability financial applications
• Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices in a fast-paced, global team setting
• Strong understanding of data security, encryption, and risk management in fintech solutions
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and compliance stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar, with exposure to digital banking innovations
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or CISSP
• Knowledge of emerging technologies like AI/ML for fraud detection and blockchain for secure transactions
• Prior involvement in launching or scaling digital banking products in emerging markets like India

Required Skills

• Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman
• Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for financial workloads
• Strong knowledge of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Java, Python, or similar languages for backend development in fintech
• Deep understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling for secure financial data handling
• Skills in API design and integration using RESTful services and GraphQL
• Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols, including OAuth, JWT, and encryption standards
• Analytical problem-solving and ability to architect resilient systems under regulatory constraints
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and technical documentation
• Agile and Scrum methodologies for collaborative project delivery
• Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Kafka) for real-time transaction processing
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack) for system observability
• Adaptability to fast-evolving fintech trends and regulatory landscapes
