Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks across JPMorgan Chase's Argentina operations
• Develop and implement robust control frameworks to ensure compliance with local and global regulatory standards
• Collaborate with senior leadership to embed risk management practices into business processes
• Conduct regular risk assessments and control testing to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
• Monitor emerging risks in the financial services landscape, including cybersecurity and market volatility
• Oversee the reporting of control metrics and incidents to regional and global risk committees
• Foster a culture of risk awareness through training and communication initiatives
• Manage relationships with external regulators and auditors in Argentina
• Drive continuous improvement in control processes using data analytics and technology
• Support business growth initiatives by providing risk advisory services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or control functions within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in leading risk identification and mitigation initiatives in a banking or financial institution
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in Argentina and international financial standards (e.g., Basel III, local CNV regulations)
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams in a high-stakes financial environment
• Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
• Relevant certifications such as CRISC, CISA, or FRM

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Risk Management) from a recognized institution
• Prior experience working at a global financial institution like JPMorgan Chase
• Knowledge of JPMorgan's internal control frameworks and risk management tools
• Experience in the Latin American financial markets, particularly Argentina
• Demonstrated leadership in implementing control enhancements during regulatory audits
