Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily P&L reconciliation and validation for Asia Equities Derivatives products
  • Support market risk reporting by analyzing and attesting to risk metrics and exposures
  • Collaborate with trading desks to ensure accurate product pricing and valuation
  • Identify and investigate P&L breaks, providing root cause analysis and resolutions
  • Assist in month-end close processes, including financial statement preparation and regulatory reporting
  • Monitor and control trading limits, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Develop and enhance control frameworks to mitigate operational risks in equities products
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support for senior management on market events and product performance
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives using financial technologies
  • Liaise with global teams to align on Asia-specific equities strategies and reporting standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product control, financial reporting, or risk management within equities derivatives
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, particularly Asia equities and derivatives products
  • Proficiency in financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific markets
  • Experience with financial systems such as Bloomberg, Reuters, or internal JPMorgan tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification
  • Prior experience at a major investment bank like JPMorgan Chase
  • Knowledge of Basel III regulations and market risk frameworks
  • Advanced Excel skills including VBA and data analytics
