Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, execution, and reporting of offensive security assessments and red team exercises to simulate real-world threats against JP Morgan Chase's financial systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, risk management, and compliance to identify vulnerabilities in banking infrastructure and applications
• Develop and refine protective strategies to enhance the resilience of JP Morgan's global financial operations against cyber threats
• Conduct penetration testing on critical assets such as trading platforms, payment systems, and client data repositories
• Analyze results from security exercises to drive continuous improvement in defensive measures and incident response protocols
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the upskilling of the broader cybersecurity organization at JP Morgan Chase
• Stay abreast of evolving cyber threats in the financial sector and integrate findings into assessment methodologies
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior stakeholders, including recommendations aligned with regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with external partners and regulatory bodies to ensure assessments meet industry standards for financial security

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in offensive security, penetration testing, or red team operations within the financial services sector
• Proven track record of leading security assessments and exercises in a high-stakes environment like banking or financial institutions
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CEH, or GIAC Penetration Tester
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks including GDPR, PCI-DSS, and SOX as applied to cybersecurity in finance
• Experience with vulnerability management and threat modeling in complex, global financial networks
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances for handling sensitive financial data

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in Cybersecurity or Risk Management
• Experience in conducting offensive security exercises for multinational banks like JP Morgan Chase
• Familiarity with cloud security assessments in AWS, Azure, or hybrid environments used in financial services
• Prior leadership role in a cybersecurity team within a top-tier financial institution
