Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI models to enhance asset management strategies, including portfolio optimization and risk assessment
  • Collaborate with quantitative analysts and portfolio managers to integrate AI-driven insights into investment decision-making processes
  • Build and maintain scalable machine learning pipelines for processing vast amounts of market data and alternative data sources
  • Conduct research and experimentation on advanced AI techniques, such as reinforcement learning for trading algorithms
  • Ensure AI solutions comply with JPMorgan Chase's risk management and data governance standards
  • Optimize AI models for performance in high-frequency trading and real-time analytics environments
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the firm's AI Center of Excellence
  • Monitor and troubleshoot AI systems in production to minimize downtime and ensure reliability

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 3-7 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on AI/ML development in a financial or enterprise environment
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for building scalable AI systems
  • Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
  • Experience with data processing tools like Apache Spark or Hadoop for handling large financial datasets
