Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of log production volumes, costs, and sales for Campbell Global's timberland assets
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of inventory, accounts payable, and receivable related to forestry operations
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal JP Morgan Chase financial policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including asset managers and sustainability experts to support financial forecasting
  • Analyze production data to identify variances and provide insights for cost optimization
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports for senior leadership
  • Manage accruals and deferrals for log harvest cycles and support audit processes
  • Contribute to ESG reporting by tracking financial metrics related to sustainable forestry practices
  • Utilize accounting software to automate reporting and improve efficiency in log production tracking
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis for investment decisions in natural resource assets

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in asset management or forestry/timberland sectors
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and general ledger management
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations applicable to asset management
  • Experience with log production accounting or inventory tracking in natural resources
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform detailed reconciliations
  • CPA certification or equivalent professional accounting qualification
