Key Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and ownership of data products within JP Morgan Chase's Asset Management division, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders across analytics, technology, and investment teams to identify data needs and develop comprehensive data strategies
• Oversee the data lifecycle from ingestion to consumption, implementing governance frameworks to maintain data quality and integrity
• Drive innovation in data solutions, pushing boundaries in analytics delivery for asset management products like mutual funds and ETFs
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, mitigating risks associated with data usage in investment decisions
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the organization
• Monitor and report on key data metrics, using insights to optimize product performance and enhance client outcomes
• Partner with global teams to standardize data practices across JP Morgan Chase's international asset management operations
• Identify emerging trends in financial data technologies and recommend integrations to improve efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Data Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data management, governance, or product management within the financial services industry
• Proven track record as a data owner or lead in asset management, with expertise in data lifecycle management and regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of asset management processes, including portfolio data, risk analytics, and investment operations
• Experience with data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and SEC requirements in financial contexts
• Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams, driving data strategy and implementation in a large-scale organization

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or Master's in Data Analytics or Financial Engineering
• Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Certification in data governance (e.g., CDMP) or product management (e.g., PMP)
• Background in agile methodologies and product roadmap development for data products
• Familiarity with sustainable investing data and ESG metrics in asset management
