Key Responsibilities

  • Support senior deal officers in sourcing and structuring debt financing for real estate investments across the Americas
  • Conduct financial analysis and modeling to evaluate debt opportunities and risks for the real estate platform
  • Prepare pitch books, investment memos, and due diligence reports for client presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including portfolio management and risk assessment, to ensure compliance with JPMorgan's standards
  • Monitor market conditions in debt capital markets and provide insights on pricing and structuring
  • Assist in negotiating terms with borrowers, lenders, and counterparties
  • Manage documentation and closing processes for debt transactions
  • Contribute to the growth of the Real Estate Americas platform by identifying new business opportunities
  • Ensure all activities adhere to regulatory requirements and JPMorgan's risk management policies
  • Support portfolio performance tracking and reporting for existing debt investments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in debt capital markets, real estate finance, or investment banking
  • Strong understanding of real estate debt instruments, including mortgages, mezzanine loans, and CMBS
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques specific to real estate assets
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess credit risk and market trends
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses or willingness to obtain them
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment in New York, NY

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Real Estate
  • Experience working at a major financial institution like JP Morgan Chase or similar
