Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies for technology sector equity portfolios, focusing on long-term growth and value creation
• Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of technology companies, including financial modeling, valuation, and competitive landscape assessment
• Monitor and manage portfolio performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize returns while managing risk exposure
• Collaborate with research analysts and sector specialists to identify emerging trends in AI, cybersecurity, and digital transformation
• Engage with institutional clients in Shanghai and across Asia to provide insights on technology sector opportunities and portfolio updates
• Ensure compliance with JP Morgan Chase's investment guidelines, Chinese securities regulations, and global risk management policies
• Contribute to the broader Equity Investment team by mentoring junior portfolio managers and participating in strategy meetings
• Perform due diligence on potential investments, including site visits to tech firms and participation in industry conferences
• Integrate sustainable investing principles into technology portfolio decisions, aligning with JP Morgan's ESG commitments
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on portfolio performance for senior management and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA certification strongly preferred
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in equity portfolio management, with a focus on technology sector investments
• Proven track record of managing equity portfolios in the technology sector, demonstrating strong performance against benchmarks
• Deep knowledge of global technology markets, including semiconductors, software, cloud computing, and emerging tech trends
• Experience working in a multinational financial institution, preferably in Asia-Pacific markets
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with regulatory compliance in China and international standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as an MBA from a top-tier institution or completion of CFA Level III
• Prior experience in asset management at a leading global firm like JP Morgan Chase or similar
• Familiarity with Chinese regulatory frameworks for asset management and cross-border investments
• Hands-on experience with quantitative analysis tools and ESG integration in tech portfolios
• Network of contacts within the technology industry in Asia, particularly in Shanghai or Greater China
