Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development and enhancement of the ETF operating model to ensure efficiency and scalability within JP Morgan Chase's Asset Management division
  • Establish, implement, and monitor policies and procedures for ETF platform management, aligning with regulatory and internal compliance standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including portfolio managers, traders, and compliance officers to optimize ETF product lifecycle processes
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with ETF issuance, redemption, and trading activities
  • Lead initiatives to integrate innovative technologies and automate processes in the ETF platform
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs for the ETF platform, providing regular reports to senior leadership
  • Ensure adherence to JP Morgan Chase's risk management framework and contribute to enterprise-wide policy updates
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in asset management operations
  • Liaise with external partners, such as authorized participants and market makers, to support seamless ETF operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in asset management, ETF operations, or financial services operations
  • Proven track record in developing and managing operating models for investment products, particularly ETFs
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for ETFs, including SEC rules and compliance standards
  • Experience in policy development and risk management within a financial institution
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in overseeing cross-functional teams in a high-stakes environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or equivalent certification
  • Prior experience at a major asset management firm or investment bank like JP Morgan Chase
  • Knowledge of ETF lifecycle management, from product launch to ongoing operations
