Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual expense budgeting and forecasting process for the Asset Management division, including headcount planning and cost optimization
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis on monthly and quarterly expenses to identify trends and recommend efficiency improvements
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and scenario planning
  • Collaborate with business leaders across Asset Management to align expense plans with organizational goals
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on financial performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Oversee the accuracy and compliance of expense reporting in accordance with JP Morgan Chase policies and regulatory standards
  • Drive initiatives to enhance financial controls and reduce operational costs within the division
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvements in expense management tools and workflows
  • Analyze headcount data to forecast staffing needs and support talent acquisition strategies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or expense management within the financial services industry
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Strong understanding of expense planning, headcount management, and cost allocation in a large-scale organization
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools like Tableau
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with a focus on compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Accounting
