Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of acquisition opportunities in the global transportation sector
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including modeling cash flows, IRR calculations, and sensitivity analyses for potential investments
  • Perform due diligence on target assets, coordinating with legal, operational, and technical teams
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across J.P. Morgan's Global Alternatives platform to structure deals and mitigate risks
  • Develop investment theses and presentations for senior management and investment committees
  • Monitor portfolio performance post-acquisition and provide strategic recommendations for value enhancement
  • Engage with external advisors, counterparties, and regulators to facilitate smooth transaction closings
  • Contribute to the GTG's thought leadership on transportation market trends and opportunities
  • Support fundraising efforts by highlighting acquisition pipeline to institutional investors
  • Ensure compliance with J.P. Morgan's risk management and ESG standards in all acquisitions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in acquisitions, investment banking, or private equity within the transportation sector
  • Proven track record in executing infrastructure deals, particularly in transport-related assets such as airports, rail, or ports
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation techniques, and due diligence processes in asset management
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the UK and EU for infrastructure investments
  • Experience working in a global financial institution with cross-border transaction exposure
