Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing trades across global markets, including equities, fixed income, and derivatives
  • Monitor portfolio positions, market movements, and risk exposures in real-time
  • Coordinate with portfolio managers and traders to ensure accurate trade allocation and settlement
  • Prepare daily trade reconciliations, performance reports, and market summaries
  • Support compliance and regulatory reporting requirements for Highbridge Capital
  • Liaise with internal teams such as operations, risk management, and legal to resolve trade issues
  • Utilize trading systems and tools to input, verify, and track orders efficiently
  • Contribute to process improvements in trading workflows to enhance efficiency
  • Analyze market data to provide insights and support decision-making for the trading desk

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in trading, asset management, or financial services operations
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives, and investment strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • U.S. work authorization without need for sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hedge fund operations or alternative investments at a major financial institution
  • Familiarity with Highbridge Capital's investment strategies or similar multi-strategy funds
  • Series 7 or Series 63 license, or willingness to obtain
