Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients in the Investment Banking Division (IBD) to promote ART (Alternative Risk Transfer) solutions
  • Advise clients on customized asset management strategies, including derivatives, structured products, and alternative investments
  • Collaborate with IBD teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and deliver integrated financial solutions
  • Conduct market analysis and prepare tailored investment proposals to meet client objectives
  • Monitor portfolio performance and provide ongoing advisory support to ensure alignment with client goals
  • Lead client presentations, seminars, and due diligence sessions to build trust and drive business growth
  • Ensure all advisory activities comply with JP Morgan Chase's risk management and regulatory policies
  • Track sales pipelines, report on key metrics, and contribute to team revenue targets
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to inform client strategies
  • Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative sales environment within the Columbus office

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, or client advisory roles within the financial services industry
  • Series 7 and Series 63 licenses (or equivalent FINRA registrations)
  • Proven track record in sales and client relationship management in institutional asset management
  • Deep understanding of investment banking division (IBD) products and alternative investments
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements in asset management and compliance standards
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or related discipline
  • Experience working with high-net-worth clients or institutional investors in the ART (Alternative Risk Transfer) space
  • Familiarity with JP Morgan Chase's proprietary platforms and tools for portfolio management
  • Previous role in a Big Four bank or leading asset management firm
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation or progress toward completion
