About the Role

JPMorgan Asset Management (JPMAM) China Operations is seeking a dedicated Transfer Agent Analyst at the Associate or VP level to join our high-performing team in Shanghai. Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily transfer agency operations for JPMAM China funds, including investor account maintenance and transaction processing
  • Perform data reconciliation and validation to ensure accuracy in net asset value (NAV) reporting
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external custodians to resolve operational discrepancies and queries
  • Monitor compliance with local and international regulatory standards for fund servicing
  • Assist in the implementation of new fund launches and operational enhancements
  • Generate reports and analytics on operational performance and risk metrics
  • Contribute to process automation initiatives to improve efficiency in transfer agency functions
  • Provide training and support to junior team members on operational procedures
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address servicing needs and ensure high service levels
  • Participate in audits and ensure documentation meets JPMorgan Chase's quality standards

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in asset management operations or transfer agency services
  • Strong understanding of fund servicing processes, including NAV calculations and investor transactions
  • Proficiency in regulatory requirements for asset management in China and international markets
  • Experience with financial systems and data reconciliation in a high-volume environment
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a focus on accuracy and compliance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or certification in finance (e.g., CFA or equivalent)
  • Prior experience with JPMorgan Chase or similar global financial institutions
