Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of private credit investment strategies within the Global Alternative Investment Solutions team
  • Manage a portfolio of private credit assets, including direct lending and opportunistic credit investments, to optimize returns and mitigate risks
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial modeling, credit analysis, and market research
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at J.P. Morgan Chase to structure complex financing deals and syndications
  • Monitor portfolio performance, implement risk management protocols, and provide regular reporting to senior leadership and clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, sponsors, and borrowers to source high-quality deal flow
  • Contribute to the innovation of private credit products, ensuring alignment with J.P. Morgan's global asset management goals
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies in private credit operations
  • Mentor junior team members and drive thought leadership in alternative investments through industry engagement
  • Analyze macroeconomic trends and credit cycles to inform strategic portfolio decisions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in private credit, asset management, or related investment roles within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in portfolio management, deal structuring, and risk assessment for alternative investments
  • Deep knowledge of private credit markets, including direct lending, mezzanine financing, and distressed debt
  • Strong regulatory compliance experience with SEC, FINRA, and other financial regulations applicable to asset management
  • Experience working in a global financial institution, ideally with exposure to high-net-worth clients and institutional investors
  • CFA charter or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CAIA) required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in leading teams within J.P. Morgan's Asset Management division or similar elite firms
  • Background in quantitative analysis and modeling for private credit portfolios
