You will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint in the Northeast, capitalizing on the region's affluent client base and growing demand for diversified alternatives amid evolving economic conditions. In this position, you will engage directly with clients to understand their sophisticated needs, recommending bespoke portfolios that incorporate private equity, hedge funds, real estate, infrastructure, and other illiquid assets. Collaborating closely with J.P. Morgan's Private Bank advisors, investment strategists, and product specialists, you will ensure seamless integration of alternatives into comprehensive wealth plans. Your days will involve client consultations, market analysis, and strategic pitching of opportunities sourced from J.P. Morgan's proprietary platforms, all while navigating regulatory frameworks to uphold the firm's commitment to transparency and fiduciary responsibility. Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional clients in the Northeast Region
  • Advise clients on alternative investment opportunities, including private equity, hedge funds, real assets, and credit strategies
  • Collaborate with JP Morgan Chase's broader Private Bank and Asset Management teams to deliver integrated wealth solutions
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and due diligence sessions to articulate the value of JP Morgan's alternative products
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes in alternatives to provide timely insights and recommendations
  • Drive sales targets by identifying cross-selling opportunities within JP Morgan's ecosystem
  • Ensure all client interactions comply with SEC, FINRA, and internal JP Morgan policies
  • Prepare customized investment proposals and performance reports for clients
  • Participate in regional networking events and industry conferences to build JP Morgan's brand presence
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team training on alternative investments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in alternative investments, private wealth management, or client advisory roles within the financial services industry
  • Series 7 and Series 63 licenses (or equivalent FINRA registrations)
  • Proven track record of client relationship management and sales in high-net-worth or institutional segments
  • Strong understanding of alternative asset classes including private equity, hedge funds, real estate, and infrastructure
  • Ability to travel within the Northeast Region as needed
  • Compliance with JP Morgan Chase's ethical standards and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or CFA designation
  • Experience working with ultra-high-net-worth clients or family offices
  • Prior role in a top-tier investment bank or asset management firm
  • Knowledge of JP Morgan Chase's proprietary alternative investment products
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and another language spoken in the Northeast Region
