Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional sales team in Melbourne to drive growth in J.P. Morgan Asset Management's retail offerings across Australia

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail clients, financial advisors, and distribution partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
  • Collaborate with global product teams to tailor asset management solutions for the Australian market
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform sales tactics
  • Mentor and develop team members to ensure high performance and retention
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in asset management sales, with a focus on retail markets
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets in the financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of Australian financial regulations, including ASIC requirements and superannuation frameworks
  • Experience leading and building high-performing sales teams in a regional context

  • Ability to travel within Australia and occasionally internationally as needed
