Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the AM APAC Chief Risk Officer, including preparation of strategic reports and presentations
• Optimize business performance by identifying operational efficiencies and implementing process improvements in risk management
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on risk strategies and compliance initiatives
• Monitor and analyze key risk metrics, market trends, and regulatory changes impacting APAC asset management
• Facilitate communication between senior leadership, risk teams, and business units to drive informed decision-making
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for real-time risk oversight
• Support the CRO in stakeholder engagements, including interactions with regulators and internal audit functions
• Lead ad-hoc projects related to risk governance, policy updates, and training programs
• Contribute to the annual risk planning and budgeting processes for the APAC region

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in risk management, business management, or related roles within the financial services industry
• Proven track record in supporting senior executives in asset management or risk functions, preferably in APAC markets
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and risk frameworks in the asset management sector across Asia-Pacific
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with experience in cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools relevant to risk assessment

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance/Risk Management)
• Experience working in a global financial institution like JP Morgan Chase
• Knowledge of APAC-specific regulations such as those from HKMA, MAS, or SFC
