Key Responsibilities

• Partner with asset management business leaders to identify technology needs and develop strategic roadmaps
• Manage technology projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and operations teams to implement innovative solutions for portfolio optimization and risk management
• Monitor and report on technology budgets, resource allocation, and ROI for asset management initiatives
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including requirements gathering and change management processes
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory standards, such as those from CSRC in China and SEC internationally
• Drive continuous improvement in technology processes to enhance efficiency in asset management workflows
• Analyze market trends and emerging technologies to recommend enhancements for JP Morgan's asset management platforms
• Support risk assessment and mitigation strategies for technology implementations in the financial services sector
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of best practices in tech business management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technology business management, project management, or similar roles within the financial services industry
• Strong understanding of asset management operations, including portfolio management, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance
• Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira or Microsoft Project
• Ability to work in Shanghai, China, with potential for hybrid or on-site requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Finance) or relevant certifications like PMP, CFA, or FRM
• Experience in asset management technology platforms, such as Aladdin or Charles River
• Prior exposure to APAC markets and regulatory frameworks in China
